The 5-Step Content Plan I’m Using to Stay Consistent (Even with a Busy Schedule)
Content Strategy Deep Dive
Let’s talk about something I know a lot of us struggle with—staying consistent…
If you’re anything like me, you have a million ideas swirling in your head:
One minute you're planning a YouTube video… the next, you're writing Instagram captions, mapping out your next digital product, and trying to remember if you already sent that email to your list.
Being a multi-passionate creator is a beautiful thing—but it can also leave you stretched thin, overwhelmed, and feeling like you’re not making real progress.
So I had to create a system that supported the way I create—not just what I create.
I’m calling it my 5-Step Content Flow, and it’s completely changed how I show up across platforms, even when life gets full.
Here’s how it works:
🪞 1. Define My Core Themes + Pillars
Instead of niching down to one rigid topic, I organize my content around themes and pillars that reflect who I am and what I help others with.
Currently, mine are:
✨ Faith
✨ Beauty + Lifestyle
✨ Wellness
✨ Personal Development
✨ Content Creation + Marketing
Every piece of content I create has to connect back to one of these pillars and are connected through my overall theme—and that’s what keeps things both focused and flexible.
📚 2. Plan Everything in Notion
I have one centralized dashboard for my content calendar, video outlines, email drafts, client work, and weekly goals. No more scattered notes across my phone, journal, and brain.
This has helped me stay consistent with YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and email without feeling like I’m reinventing the wheel every week.
📸 3. Batch Filming + Content Creation
Every week, I have a designated “Content Day” (typically Saturdays) where I batch as much as I can.
On those days, I’m filming long-form + Short-form videos, capturing B-roll, taking a few beauty/lifestyle shots, and editing captions or scripts for the week ahead.
This is how I maintain consistency while managing freelance and coaching work on the side.
♻️ 4. Repurpose With Intention
If you’re not repurposing, you’re doing too much.
Each YouTube video can become:
→ 1-2 Instagram Reels
→ 1 email newsletter
→ A few carousel posts or tweets
→ Clips for TikTok or IG stories
🧘🏽♀️ 5. Schedule + Rest
I use tools like ConvertKit and Later to schedule my content in advance so I can unplug without falling behind.
And more importantly, I give myself grace.
If I can’t post every day—that’s okay. My strategy is rooted in sustainability, not hustle.
